We are a small, inclusive congregation seeking to be a vibrant Christian community in the Kensington/Flemington area. We are faithful to the Christian tradition but also alert to contemporary Australian culture. It is our belief that the God revealed in Jesus Christ is a hospitable God.

Welcome all ages and families, with gratitude for the different gifts of ethnicity, culture, creed, sexual orientation, gender and religious tradition
LIVE
Live our shared Christian traditions and also explore contemporary Australian spiritualities, questions, and the challenges of everyday life
ENGAGE
Engage our community by serving as a gathering place for our Tuesday playgroup, music and arts events, and programs offered by the Kensington Neighbourhood House
SERVE
Serve others by partnering with other churches and organisations in a weekly meals program, regular concerts benefiting asylum seekers, and supporting the work of Hotham Mission
Community Partners:
Christ Church Kensington partners with several community groups and organisations to make full use of our buildings and grounds, including a community garden and yoga studio. Our partners include
Kensington Neighbourhood House which offers classes, social groups, and other activities, and
Hotham Mission a Uniting Church social service provider that provides food assistance, job training, and other programs for underserved members of our community.
